Reflections

For each, I input a simple request for the AI the specialize my resume for an internship in a tax field and a finance field. I tried to make it as minimalistic as possible to avoid overcomplicating the request on the AI. 

When reviewing the original versus the two tailored versions, there were a few differences that stuck out to me. For example, the wording changed to highlight different aspects of each of my professional experiences and omitted what experiences would be unnecessary to include if I were to apply to these different fields. The AI took into account specific aspects such as the job title, industry, and expectations unique to each, like omitting my tax certification when applying for a finance position. This taught me that understanding your audience can help with not only tailoring your resume and maximizing your chances at an interview, but also how valuable it can be with strategizing what internships and experiences to aim for.
